Staycation By The Beach! - Belleza Beach House.

Staycation time!

Started my week with beautiful views on a quiet and clean beach! Belleza Beach Club is a fairly new 5 bedroom beach house rental on the Kokrobite/Langma beach, next to Wakanda Beach. It’s been open for under a year but it’s slowly becoming THE rental space in Kokrobite for obvious reasons - it’s a lovely vibe. It’s perfect for staycations, baecations, day visits, photo ops, and pretty much any beach related activity you can think of.

The house has 2 floors, each with a living room, ensuite rooms and a balcony and each floor comes with DSTV and WiFi. It’s very close to the water’s edge so from the first floor balcony it looks like you’re sitting in the water. It’s so beautiful! The breeze, views, general vibe - they all come together perfectly. The space is an actual beach lover’s dream.

There are 5 rooms in total. You can rent:

  • By Room:

    • $250 / night.

Comes with access to the living room and balcony and complimentary breakfast.

    • $150 / day

This package is for a day pass from 7:00am-6:00pm and is available only from Mondays to Thursdays. It comes with free lunch and access to the living room and balcony.

  • By Floor:

    • $450 / night for Ground Floor.

It has 2 ensuite rooms, a living room and a balcony and comes with complimentary breakfast.

    • $700 / night for 1st Floor.

It has 3 ensuite rooms, a living room and a balcony and comes with complimentary breakfast

  • Whole House: $1000 / night

My absolute favourite thing about their rooms has to be the mirror above the bed (it’s in all the rooms)!
With the exception of the middle room on the 1st floor (which is the biggest room by the way), the rooms have floor to ceiling glass walls with a lovely view of the beach. They all come with a fridge, an air-conditioner, basic toiletries like soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste and a towel, and a mini tea station.
Both living rooms come with a TV, fan and speaker (no AC because it isn’t needed).

Check-in starts at 2:00pm and check out is at 12:00pm.

There’s no restaurant on-site but they have a menu for guests and the food is handled by their in-house chef. Alternatively you can request access to the kitchen and make your own food OR bring outside food, they’re very flexible with that. There’s also a grill available for guests to use.

I tried the

  • Pork Chops with French Fries

    💸¢120

  • Grilled Chicken Wings with Plantain

    💸¢100

  • Grilled Tilapia with Yam Chips

    💸¢55

  • Garlic Buttered Octopus (FAVE!) with Shrimp Fried Rice

    💸¢50 + ¢80

The food is good, especially the octopus and pork, but order about 30-60 minutes early because it can take a while.
There are no drinks on-site, so you can ask and some will be bought for you or bring yours when you’re coming.

First time trying archery and turns out I’m a natural! I was hitting that bullseye like a pro! There are a number of things to do here, like swimming, beach soccer, volleyball (there’s a net), kite flying and fishing. They have card and board games, water guns, swings available for guests too. For an extra charge they’ll arrange arts and crafts, swimming lessons, yoga classes and paintball for you, or set up a bonfire at night. For the shisha/hookah fans, you can get different flavours for ¢80.

Parties are allowed, but you’ll need to inform them first, and that comes at an extra charge. They’re pretty flexible with some of their house rules, you just need to let them know so they can make the necessary arrangements.

The managers are very hands on and helpful, which is a plus (one took all my pictures for me LOL). They’re very easy going and bent over backwards to make sure everything went well. To make it easy for people to get there, they arrange pick-ups at an extra charge (starts from ¢100)

Honestly, it’s so beautiful over here, it’s definitely worth the money. I mean, I almost didn’t want to leave and I’ll definitely be booking again.

You can reach them here, or check out their IG/Twitter.
